When Princess Doe was identified last week and murder charges filed for her death, it signaled a long-awaited conclusion to the 40-year-old cold case.

But there are dozens more cold cases still open in the Lehigh Valley and Warren County. Some are even older than Princess Doe’s.

A cursory review shows about 50 cold cases dating back to 1953. They cover unsolved homicides, unidentified remains and missing people. All are still waiting for someone to provide the clues critical to cracking each case.
