It doesn’t matter if you’re having a backyard get-together, spending the day at a beach, or hiking your favorite trail—the Wirecutter Deals team has you covered. We’ve collected seven deals to help you make the most of your time outdoors while the warm weather continues to heat up. From sunscreen and a rechargeable mosquito repeller to collapsible wagons and a wearable sleeping bag, it’s not too late to grab some gear—on sale—dedicated to pure summer fun.

Thermacell E55 Rechargeable Mosquito Repeller Deal price: $30 with code 25WIRECUTTER; street price: $40

Mosquito bites can take a fun outdoor event and quickly turn it into a living nightmare. To keep mosquitoes away from your deck or patio without needing to douse yourself in repellant, we recommend the Thermacell E55. Effective and easy to use, the simple interface and rechargeable lithium-ion battery make the Thermacell much more convenient than butane-cartridge options. With 12- and 40-hour cartridge options, we found that it’s nearly as good at stopping mosquitoes as a full application of spray repellent. Though it loses efficacy in windy conditions, and the coverage area is limited, this model covers a larger area than our previous pick. Down to $30 in three colors with code 25WIRECUTTER, the code applies automatically in cart.

Midland ER210 Emergency Weather Radio Deal price: $40; street price: $48

If you live in an area prone to extreme weather, a reliable emergency radio is a critical tool to have handy. Our runner-up pick, the Midland ER210 is essentially a smaller, sleeker version of our top pick. This hand-crank radio has all the same features as the ER310—including weather-band radio reception, NOAA weather alerts, a bright flashlight, a headphone jack, and multiple charging options—but it’s about two-thirds of the size and has a smaller battery, something to note since you have to  do the cranking. Although it has seen an increase in street price over the years, this deal is only the second notable discount we’ve posted for the Midland ER210.

Merrell Moab 2 Mid Waterproof Hiking Boots (Men’s) Deal price: $109; street price: $135

Merrell Moab 2 Mid Waterproof Hiking Boots (Women’s) Deal price: $109; street price: $135

Merrell Moab 2 Mid Waterproof Hiking Boots aren’t quite as durable or comfortable as some of our other picks, but they’re a no-frills, trustworthy option for hikers on a budget. We find them to be a good fit in all the ways that count: They’re waterproof (for a limited time), they provide decent ankle support, they offer an easy-to-use lacing system, and they’re pretty breathable. These are a great pair of boots if you take occasional, shorter hikes or if you have wider feet.

REI Co-op Siesta Hooded 25 Sleeping Bag Deal price: $77; street price: $130

Summertime means a lot of casual camping, and the Siesta Hooded 25 is an excellent place to start. As an updated model of our previous top pick, the Siesta Hooded 25 has everything you want in a basic sleeping bag—it’s warm, comfortable, moisture resistant, easy to clean, and easy to stuff away. It’s meant to be used in car camping and basic camping situations since it’s only rated down to 25 °F (don’t expect to take this to K2 or Banff), but we still think it’s a great three-season (good for spring, summer, and fall, but not winter) sleeping bag for most camping situations. This is the first deal we’ve posted on our top sleeping bag, so don’t delay if you see the great outdoors in your future.

REI Co-op Siesta Hooded 25 Double Sleeping Bag Deal price: $137; street price: $230

Although it’s not a bag we’ve officially tested, REI has a double version of our new top sleeping bag that’s meant for couples. The Siesta 25 Double has everything you want in a basic couple’s sleeping bag—it’s warm, comfortable, moisture resistant, easy to clean, easy to stuff away, and big enough for two people to comfortably cuddle and sleep. And since it has zippers on both sides, you can get out of the bag without disturbing your bag-mate. Like the regular Siesta 25, it’s primarily meant to be used in car camping and basic camping situations since it’s only rated down to 25 °F, but we still think it’s a great three-season (good for spring, summer, and fall, but not winter) double sleeping bag for most camping situation. This is the first deal we’ve posted on this double sleeping bag so it’s a great time to pick it up if you see a romantic camping trip in your future.

Marmot Teton 15 Sleeping Bag (Women’s) Deal price: $224; street price: $280

A bad sleeping bag can ruin your entire trip and leave you freezing in the night as you wish you had brought something warmer. Our upgrade pick for backpackers, the Marmot Teton 15 (Women’s) is perfect for narrow-bodied people who sleep cold. Rated for temperatures down to 15 °F, the Teton was one the softest, warmest bags we tested, with thick stuffing that swaddles you while you sleep. With nice features such as an electronics bag and water-resistant down, this bag also comes with Marmot’s lifetime warranty. The Teton is down to $224 in the regular length, and if you’re a bit taller, the long length is also available for $15 more.
